“eFabric virtualizes entire IT environment to provide a fully converged solution for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) use cases,” says Sinha. With this, the need for storage area network (SAN) is eliminated as all the storage is made available inside a highly available software-defined storage cluster— created from commodity disks in servers. “eFabric replaces virtualization, SAN, remote management, and monitoring costs with an extremely simplified plug n play model of deployment,” adds Sinha. As a distributed hypervisor for the data center, eFabric also enable customers to use a wide variety of open compute projects (OCP) and commodity hardware, while leveraging open source platforms such as like Docker, Hadoop, Spark, and OpenShift. The platform offers customers a handsome 70 percent TCO savings over traditional enterprise virtualization solutions.
Midfin Systems eFabric technology was designed from ground-up to manage and scale IT departments. “There are plenty of legacy data center virtualization solutions in the market that claim to have technology to create cloud. However, these solutions are complex to buy, configure, deploy and extremely hard to manage,” highlights Sinha.
With Midfin Systems’ eFabric, customers get the same efficiency and resiliency benefits as a mega data center on open and commodity hardware. “eFabric works with commodity and low-cost hardware with its full-stack approach to software-defined everything in the data center,” says Sinha.

The platform is also a DevOps ready tool, allowing developers to self-serve themselves securely on eFabric data centers. Midfin Systems has deployed its solutions across U.S. and Canada. “We are expanding to Europe and APAC later this year. We are just beginning to discuss partnership with some reputed and trusted names in these regions,” adds Sinha.
Midfin Systems got an opportunity to work with a service provider company, which was grappling with a remote management of their data centers, reduced latency, and response time in accessing media content to their end-users. To curb the client’s challenges, eFabric controller was deployed and configured in edge mode with DNS and NAT. As a result, the client was able to muster reduced deployment time and 65 percent reduction in the TCO.
Midfin Systems maintain its focus on customers and their needs, even amidst in the environment of fierce competition. The company is successfully providing an alternative to VMware through its solution eFabric, liberating customers from the shackles of vTax. “Our full-stack approach along with super-efficient methodology, aims to remove need of hiring data center management experts and interoperability cost, yielding the same economics as AWS” says Sinha. Midfin Systems aspires to touch organizations from around the corner. For this, the company is bringing solutions with partners such as Microsoft, RedHat, Docker, MapR, Accton, Hortonworks, Orange (France Telecom), and dozens of value-added resellers and system integrators. As an admirer of Jeff Bezos, Sinha wants to lead its company by focusing on customers and leveraging technologies that lay a better path for organizations to do their business.
